“Ang Panday 2”
a Filipino movie that is considered a box office hit in the Philippines. I think it’s nothing but a cheap version for Clash of the Titans, Eragon, Harry Potter, Wicked and Lord of the Rings. why?

reason #1: This one looks something from a very old child story about a boy who pulls out a sword from a rock. and it glows because blah blah blah.
reason #2: Their witch in the movie looks like the cheap not so green version of Elphaba from Wicked. oh and uglier too.

reason #3: this looks like the mini battle scene from Lord of The Rings (sorry i don’t have a clip from Lord of the Rings but who in the world hasn’t watched that movie.)

reason #4: their goblin also looks like the goblin from Lord of the Rings. except in panday the goblin was flying. the looks of the goblin was from Lord of the Rings but the concept of it flying was also from Clash of the Titans.

reason #5: who doesn’t remember this big baby from the Clash of the Titans? the Giant Scorpion was also copied by panday. tsk tsk.

I have made my point and all i can say is the movie panday sucks because they don’t have a single itsy bitsy piece of originality. I am a Filipino but i just hate it when the movie people try so hard to copy international movies. tsk tsk.
